Week 12: Outcome and ambition

There are some possible extensions to this idea that would have been interesting to explore. For example stitching objects and overlapping cosmoses could create a collaborative experience at the museum. If the idea would move onto the web this could work almost as an ancestry tool and maybe investigate possible collaborators from genealogy companies. John Stack mentioned this idea could serve as a gift, which is another possible route that opens up for new contexts.

For last week’s group crit I had worked so hard on my presentation for John Stack. I had practiced to be distinct and concise within the 5 minutes and make the idea look its best. The feedback from John was good, he thought there is a permanence in the idea, it has a social aspect and can allow people to collaborate. Everything went well, but as always I went back to watch the recording to listen to my speech and rhetoric and see what I can improve. It was not until then I realised that no one else but me had heard the sound from the cosmos, one of the fundamental building blocks for my entire idea. This module has been so hard for me, I have struggled so much and this was meant to be my chance to reestablish myself. My heart sank. I guess that was a lesson learned though.
